Axel Janhoff

Our Managing Director Axel Janhoff lives IT in all its facets. In addition to his successes as an IT system house and software entrepreneur and his work as an IT consultant, he is also active in VOI e.V. and VOI CERT on the topics of audit-proof archiving and replacement scanning. Axel is an ISO/IEC 27001 and VOI CERT auditor, CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and works as an expert assessor for the German Accreditation Body. In his projects, he has most recently actively supported his customers in the implementation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), the technical implementation of a Smart City data platform, replacement scanning in accordance with TR-RESISCAN, archive migrations and consolidations and signatures in accordance with eIDAS.

Lukas Rasegi

Lukas has been successfully involved in the development, architecture and design of complex projects and products in the IT sector for over 25 years. With the development of AirID technology over 12 years ago, he set new standards in terms of security and convenience. His development approaches are based on a deep understanding of the mutually influencing factors of people, processes and technology. In his view, the actual benefit of technological (further) developments must be measured precisely by this: The extent to which it makes people's work easier and increases the efficiency of processes. In line with this premise, QuantoID is also the result of discussions with customers from various industries about their specific challenges and exchanges with other experts as part of various security projects in recent years.

FAQ

Can QuantoID also be used in environments with increased security requirements?

Yes, QuantoID works with very high encryption standards and exclusively with recognized encryption methods.
These are adapted at all times in line with external requirements/developments, for example with regard to the risks posed by quantum computers.
Overall, the QuantoID system achieves a level of security that could previously only be achieved through the use of additional hardware.

Is it possible to use QuantoID as a second factor outside a PKI?

In principle, QuantoID can be combined with all common standards. In the first step, the focus was on making the security level of (corporate) PKI feasible for companies of all sizes. We are also working on providing a platform-independent solution outside of PKI in the future with QuantoID Passkey/FIDO 2.

QuantoID is a solution that is suitable for use in companies ranging from corporations to sole traders, as well as in authorities and organizations of all sizes. It meets the highest security requirements and offers a superior and convenient solution for authentication, signing and encryption.

What do I need to use QuantoID?

QuantoID is designed so that all security-relevant processes run automatically in the background. Users need the QuantoID app on their smartphone and the corresponding software on the respective host. Management functions such as the secure transport of certificates, information on activity and user status, automated import of updates are carried out centrally and easily via the QuantoID backend solution from your IT department or via your chosen IT service provider.
